Definitely was surprised by the vastness of the hotel. Many different buildings with different levels to each. It felt like I was walking into my own condo/apartment. I also loved the breakfast buffet for the $12. It was really great food and coffee before my flight home.

Buffet breakfast at the Tequila Factory is really good. Decently priced for adults and kids (by today's standards) and a good selection of fresh buffet breakfast foods (bacon, french toast, pancakes, cereal, bagels, coffee, etc.) Easy walking distance to Old Town with tons of things to do there. Nice pool and spa, both clean. Decent shower, typical low water pressure for a hotel but good temperature range. Beds were pretty good. Pull out couch bed is pretty small, only had 1 child on there but it was fine for them (elementary age), you probably don't want to put an adult on it. Room was a little cramped for a family of 5 but it worked out. Less than 10 minute drive to Sea World. Parking garage was cramped but felt safe.

Location was very nice, with a view of part of the city. It had a very Spanish feel. The rooms were in various buildings. There were elevators. It once was a Spanish like shopping market. There were many Mexican restaurants in the area. We did feel safe in this area which is called Old Town. The staff were very helpful when we had a little trouble finding things like where the Breakfast was held. You do pay for the breakfast though. It was OK. The rooms were clean. We had only two nights and so we were happy to have the Shuttle from the Airport and just get a taxi to site-see at the harbor where we visited the Midway Naval Aircraft Carrier.

Great location. Located In Old Town and just a short walk to the Trolley to take us to Gas Lamp, shopping centres and Seaport. Village. Fantastic view across the town from our room on 5th floor. Lift and 3 small flights of stairs to get up there but worth it. Room a good size with private balcony. Pool was lovely, heated and nice and quiet in the afternoon.

I loved the proximity of the property to Old Town and to downtown, etc.. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was spacious with a couch, fridge, microwave, and a nice table for eating at. The location set-up with separate buildings for the various rooms was cute and offered a great view. The bed was comfortable and the staff at the front desk was very kind. They helped out with extending my stay when our plans to travel north were cut short by the fires in the area. The location is great - just walk downstairs and you're in Old Town. I would definitely enjoy staying here again.

It was unique,a little on the venture’s side. It had great views of San Diego. We were in the number six villa on the third floor, which you could see at a short distance. We ran into people that had came up to the higher floor so they could take great pictures of the view and their family members. I would return ,I noticed in that town between eight and nine the restaurant shut down maybe on the weekends they’re open longer.. my granddaughter and I had a great time. Thank you.

Nice hotel in the flavor of Old Mexico. Great staff, room w a balcony view, great shower & white, fluffy towels! Best of all the location in a fun environment of shops & restaurants with easy walking to Hop On, Hop Off, city trolley & buses. The breakfast buffet was good & the best price in town. Some rooms may have lots of stairs, so request near elevators or in 800 Building, close to front entrance. Thankful for the airport shuttle.

This is a lovely place to stay. Old town is a very nice area that is close to the bus and tram system so that you can easily visit many other areas if you want. The hotel itself is very nice with all the amenities that you need, and very lovely people. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful property in Old Town that is like a resort. The rooms are located on several buildings, there is a pool, and a nice restaurant. It is safe and the staff was super friendly. The view is amazing, we had a room with a balcony.
